Warm Spaces
Derby Libraries across the city are offering a warm welcome to anyone who wants to relax in a safe space this winter with no expectation to spend money.
Chat, connect with people, meet the friendly staff and volunteers and relax with some books and a free hot drink.
Our staff and volunteers are available if you need to speak to someone about our regular free activities and resources. We have books with information to help with rising costs that cover everything from how to manage your finances to cooking for your family on a budget. Borrowing is free with your library card.
Normanton Conversation Café
Conversation café is a new group developed by Derby Libraries and the Friends of Normanton Park. A chance for the community to come together to chat, share memories, create and connect over old photos of Normanton. It’s free, open to all, with hot drinks available.
